This policy explains what information Trusted Local Realtor collects on this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are real estate investors who buy houses for cash; we are not a licensed real estate brokerage.
What we collect
- What you tell us: your name, mobile number, email (optional), the property address, and your answers in our cash-offer questions (property type, condition, situation, timeline, and which option interests you).
- Your consent record: the exact consent wording you agreed to, the date and time, and a scrambled (one-way hashed) version of your internet address, so we can show what you agreed to and when.
- Basic site information: the page you were on, your browser type, and a small cookie that remembers which state's pages you started on so we can show the right office. We may use analytics tools to count visits and form submissions.
How we use it
- To prepare your cash offer and show what listing could net.
- To contact you about your property by phone, text or email, as you agreed. Some calls and texts may use automated technology, an artificial or prerecorded voice, or AI-generated voice or text.
- To keep records of our conversations and your consent, and to meet legal requirements.
- To keep the site working, secure and free of spam.
Who we share it with
- Service providers who help us run the business, under their own privacy and security terms: our customer management system, our website host, email and text-message providers, Google Maps (for address suggestions and maps) and analytics.
- People needed to complete a sale, if you decide to sell to us, such as a title or settlement company.
- When the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
We don't sell your personal information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Local agent listings
Some pages list local real estate agents using public information. If you contact one of those agents, you are contacting them directly, and they handle your information under their own policies.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text, or tell us on a call, to stop texts and calls. See our SMS Terms.
- Call (855) 554-8114 to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it, unless we have to keep it by law.
How long we keep it
We keep your information as long as we need it to work with you, and longer where the law requires records (for example, records of your consent).
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send sensitive financial details through the form.
Children
This site is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
